About me
I'm Bhupendra Bhattarai — a graphic, motion and web designer with fifteen years of hands-on studio experience, most of it built inside the United Arab Emirates' agency world, and now applied from a studio in Kathmandu.
My work sits at the point where a brand's identity, its motion and its digital presence have to agree with each other — a logo that holds up in a sting, a site that carries the same voice as the packaging. I care less about trend and more about whether the work still holds up in two years.
Nepali by upbringing, Gulf-trained by career, and back in Kathmandu by choice — I moved home to bring that standard of craft to Nepal's own businesses, without anyone needing to look abroad for it.
Career path
Year 1–3
Cut my teeth on print and brand identity work — logotypes, stationery systems, retail collateral — learning the discipline of a grid before ever touching a timeline.
Year 4–8
Joined agency teams across the UAE producing brand films, social motion and campaign animation for retail, hospitality and finance clients — where speed and polish both had to be non-negotiable.
Year 9–13
Took on web design and front-end direction for product launches and corporate sites, connecting identity and motion systems into full digital experiences.
Year 14–15
Took on senior creative responsibility — client direction, junior designer mentorship, and ownership of design systems across a growing account list.
Now
Returned to Nepal to work directly with local brands and founders — bringing Gulf-agency standards to identity, motion and web work built at home.
